Now, I'm no AKB48 fanatic; hell, I don't know who half of the girls are on there, especially on the lower end of the spectrum. However, there are a few things of note.

1. The most obvious to all AKB fans who know some of the members: OSHIMA YUKO BEAT MAEDA ATSUKO? When I first heard this I was SUPER surprised. Acchan's kind of the darling of AKB, and is the center/lead in nearly everything she touches. Oshima's certainly a lead as well, but I thought the fact that Acchan would dominate these rankings was a given. Apparently not. Will Oshima be the one to be the center/lead in this new single/PV, now that she's the most popular? (Though it is most likely a case of wota buying multiple copies of a single to make multiple votes, as is the case with most of the other members).

2. my favorite AKB member, Miyazawa Sae moved up in the rankings! Yay~ I love Genking, so seeing her get some more recognition is always good.

3. For some reason I thought KojiHaru, another member I liked would be higher? She always seems to be a very prominent member. I just thought she was in the top five or something, I don't know.

4. Aww, LoveTan (Oota Aika) didn't make it into the single. :( That's a shame, because I really like her. Maybe, since she topped the Under Girls, she'll get a more prominent role there? I'd definitely like to see her do that.

Otherwise, the list isn't really different from the one to Iiwake Maybe, except for some movements.

Aaaand I'll leave you with the song that's been in my head all day that sold like crazy for this ranking, Ponytail to ShuShu.
